The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

A customer might comment that the primary decklid seal is torn on the left side of the trunk opening. This condition can be caused by the trunk/harness hinge zip-tie head contacting the primary trunk seal when closing the decklid.

To repair this condition rotate the head of the zip-tie inward until the head is pointing towards the passenger side of the vehicle. It will also be necessary to replace the primary deck-lid seal.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
