Preliminary Procedures

  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the right front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  3. Remove the right engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement - Right Side.

Transaxle Brace Bolts (Qty: 5)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tip
Tighten bolts in specified sequence.

Tighten
50 N·m (37 lb ft)

Transmission Brace Replacement LZ9 to M15

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

    2. Object Number: 1695447 Size: SH
  2. Remove the transaxle brace bolts.
  3. Remove the transaxle brace.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1695447 Size: SH
  1. Install the transaxle brace.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the transaxle brace bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  3. Lower the vehicle.
