Preliminary Procedures

1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Remove the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Front Trim Panel Replacement.

Rear Compartment Lid Release Switch Screw

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tip
The screw for the compartment lid release switch will have to be accessed through the hole in the module.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Tip

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Cycle the compartment lid to verify operations.
