Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the front and rear headliners. Refer to Roof Retractable Front Headlining Trim Panel Replacement and Roof Retractable Rear Headlining Trim Panel Replacement.
2. Remove the folding top from the vehicle. Refer to Folding Top Replacement.

Folding Top Side Rail Bolts (Qty: 8)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tip
Mark the location of the part with a grease pencil before removing.

Tighten
22 N·m (16 lb ft)

Folding Top Pivot Bracket Shim

Tip
Do not remove the shim when remove the roof.

Folding Top Panel Side Rail

Tip
An assistant will be needed to remove the retractable roof.
