Preliminary Procedures

1. Place the folding top in the service position. Refer to Folding Top Retainer Strap Installation Position.
2. Remove the sunshade on the right side.
3. Remove the right garnish pillar molding. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement.
4. Remove the upper garnish molding. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement.

Folding Top Panel Receiver Bolt (Qty: 3)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tip
Mark the location of the guide with a grease pencil before removing.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Place the guide shim under the receiver before reinstalling the bolts.
