Press the unlock button on the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter to turn the headlamps and back-up lamps on for 60 seconds if it is dark enough outside.

The lamps only turn on if the exterior lamp control is left in the AUTO position and EGRESS lighting has been enabled in the Driver Information Center (DIC) customization menu. See DIC Vehicle Customization.
