Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2009 🢒 G8 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.8L, 3.0L, 3.2L, or 3.6L 🢒 Water Pump Installation

    Note: Make sure all mating surfaces are clean and free of grease.

  1. Using a water sealant install the water pump and gasket to front engine cover.
  2. Make sure all retaining bolts are clean and free of debris.

    3. Object Number: 1957891 Size: SH
  3. Install the water pump (1) and NEW gasket (2).

    4. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  4. Install the water pump to engine front cover retaining bolts (3) and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

    5. Object Number: 1957889 Size: SH
  5. Install the water pump pulley (2) to the water pump (3)
  6. Install the water pump pulley to water pump retaining bolts (1) and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
