For 1990-2009 cars only
- Install thermostat housing to cylinder block retaining bolts (4) ensuring a new block gasket (1) and rubber grommets (3) has been fitted and tighten bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Install the heater pipe assembly to thermostat housing retaining bolts (5) ensuring new O-ring seals (6) have been fitted and tighten bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Install the heater pipe assembly (4) to cylinder head (2) retaining bolt (3) and tighten to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).
