J 41712 Oil Pressure Switch Socket


    Object Number: 1951036 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the oil pressure sensor wiring harness connector (1).

    2. Object Number: 1951038 Size: SH

    Important: Clean the area around the oil pressure sensor (2) before removal. This prevents debris from entering the engine.

  2. Use the J 41712  (1) to remove the oil pressure sensor (2).

    3. Object Number: 2044519 Size: SH
  3. Remove the oil pressure sensor (1) and washer (2) from the Valve Lifter Oil Manifold (VLOM) (5).

    4. Important: The valve lifter oil filter (3) should be replaced whenever the oil pressure sensor (1) is removed.

  4. Remove the valve lifter oil filter (3).

    5. Discard the filter.

    Important: The valve lifter oil filter O-ring seal (4) is a single use only part and must be replaced whenever the valve lifter oil filter (3) is removed.

  5. Remove and discard the valve lifter oil filter O-ring seal (4).

    6. Discard the O-ring seal.
