Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
  2. Remove the upper auxiliary weatherstrip. Refer to Front Side Door Upper Auxiliary Weatherstrip Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 1939966 Size: SH

    Note: Use a suitable tool to pry open inner panel (1).

  3. Remove the inner panel (1) from the door (2).

    4. Object Number: 1939956 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the mirror to door harness electrical connector (1).

    5. Object Number: 1939967 Size: SH

    Note: Position aside upper auxiliary weatherstrip to locate the front mirror to door retaining screw.

    Note: Support the mirror when removing retaining screws (1).

  5. Remove the mirror to door retaining screws (1).
  6. Remove the mirror from the door.

Installation Procedure
  1. Position the mirror to the door.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1939967 Size: SH
  2. Install the mirror to door retaining screws (1) and tighten to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

    3. Object Number: 1939956 Size: SH
  3. Connect the mirror to door harness electrical connector (1).

    4. Object Number: 1939966 Size: SH

    Note: Push the inner panel (1) to attach the retainers.

  4. Install the inner panel (1) to the door (2).
  5. Install the upper auxiliary weatherstrip. Refer to Front Side Door Upper Auxiliary Weatherstrip Replacement.
  6. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
