Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2009 🢒 G8 🢒 Seats 🢒 Seat Hardware, Trim, and Upholstery 🢒 Rear Folding Seat Back Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.
  2. Remove the rear folding seat. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement.
  3. Place seat on suitable work surface.
  4. Remove rear seat armrest. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement.

    5. Object Number: 2048772 Size: SH
  5. With a suitable tool detach the rear folding seat cover (1) along the rear folding seat cup holder fascia (2).

    6. Object Number: 2048782 Size: SH
  6. Detach the rear folding seat cover (1) from the rear folding seat cup holder fascia (2).

    7. Object Number: 2048784 Size: SH
  7. Carefully remove the rear folding seat cover (1) from the rear folding seat pad (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2048784 Size: SH

    Important: When installing the rear folding seat cover (1), pull the rear folding seat cover (1) tightly in all corners to ensure that no creasing occurs.

  1. Install the rear folding seat cover (1) to the rear folding seat pad (2).

    2. Object Number: 2048785 Size: SH

    Important:  Make sure that the rear folding seat cover to seat cup holder fascia retaining clips (3) are securely fitted.

  2. Install the rear folding seat cover (1) to the rear folding seat cup holder facia (2).

    3. Object Number: 2048786 Size: SH
  3. Install the rear folding seat cover (1) along the rear folding seat cup holder fascia (2).
  4. Install the rear seat armrest. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement.
  5. Install the rear folding seat. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
  6. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.
