Effective January 29, 2004, fuses for the radio and instrument cluster
are removed during shipping to protect against battery drain. The fuse panel is located
beneath the driver's side knee bolster. The removed fuses are located in a small
plastic zip-lock bag inside the Owner's Manual Package placed in the glovebox. The
port of inspection audits for these fuses 100%. If fuses are found missing when the
vehicle is received during inspection, they are replaced during the port inspection.
REINSTALLING THE FUSES IS PART OF THE PRE-DELIVERY PROCEDURE AND IS NOT A WARRANTABLE
ITEM. ALL CLAIMS FOR FUSE REPLACEMENT WITH LESS THAN 50 MILES ARE SUBJECT TO REVIEW.
