Condition
Some customers may comment on a light, barely audible whistle noise while their vehicle is stationary, with the brakes applied. This noise will disappear when the brakes are released.
Correction
Install a new vacuum brake booster check valve. Refer to Vacuum Brake Booster Check Valve and/or Hose Replacement (SI Document ID #1367021).
The new valve (1) can be easily identified from the old valve (2) by the black cover.
