If the windshield wipers are activated while they are frozen to the windshield or buried in heavy snow, the fuse may open to protect the wiper motor. For greater customer convenience, a new self-resetting circuit breaker, P/N 92170631, is now available. The circuit breaker is a press-in type which replaces the fuse.
The windshield wiper fuse is labeled FRONT WIPER and is fuse #18 in the passenger compartment electrical center, located under the driver's side of the I/P panel.
