1. Disconnect the coolant recovery hose from the radiator filler neck, then remove the hose from the fan shroud and mass air flow (MAF) sensor air cleaner housing retaining clips.
2. Raise and support vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
3. Remove the wheelhouse liner to coolant recovery reservoir assembly fastener.
4. Remove the reservoir assembly attaching screws (1).
5. Disconnect the coolant level switch electrical connector.
6. Remove the reservoir from under the vehicle.

Important: Lubricate the inside diameters of the hoses with clean coolant prior to installation.

1. Position the reservoir.
2. Connect the coolant level switch electrical connector.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

3. Install the reservoir assembly attaching screws (1).

Tighten
Tighten the reservoir attaching screws to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

4. Install the wheelhouse liner to coolant recovery reservoir assembly fastener.
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Connect the coolant recovery hose to the radiator filler neck, then connect the hose to the fan shroud and MAF sensor air cleaner housing retaining clips.
