Removal Procedure
- Use tape to protect the mounting surface during removal.
- To remove the weld joint molding (1) from the roof, begin at the front end and use a small plastic flat-bladed tool. Lift the weld joint molding (1) away from the weld joint, disengaging the 6 retainer clips (2).
- Slide the weld joint molding (1) from the rear window side molding retainer (3) and remove.
Installation Procedure
- Seat the 6 retainers onto the weld joint molding, evenly spaced.
- Engage the weld joint molding (2) onto the rear window side molding retainer and slide along until the weld joint molding (1) sits under the uncap (1).
- Seat the weld joint molding (2) in the weld joint and beginning at the rear, clip it in place.
- At the front, ensure the weld joint molding (2) is installed under the windshield molding cover.
- Remove the protective tape from the vehicle.
