  1. Remove the park brake shoe (2). Refer to Parking Brake Shoe Replacement .
  2. Inspect the park brake shoe for the following conditions:
    3. • Oil or fluid contamination
    • Cracks
    • Uneven wear
  3. Measure the thickness of the park brake shoe lining.

    4. Specification
    The minimum park brake shoe lining thickness is 1.5 mm (0.059 in).

  4. If 1 park brake shoe requires replacement, replace both park brake shoes. Refer to Parking Brake Shoe Replacement .
