Data Display/Definitions
The Scan Tool Data Display/Definitions contains a brief description of all the
ABS/TCS data parameters. The menus available depend on the number and type of system
on the vehicle and are listed below in alphanumeric order.
ABS Failed: The scan tool will display Yes/No. This will indicate
if the ABS has failed.
ABS Pump Motor: The scan tool displays On or Off - This parameter
indicates the state of the ABS pump motor.
ABS Warning Lamp: The scan tool will display On or Off depending
on the state of the ABS indicator.
Brake Light Switch: The scan tool displays Applied or Released
- The scan tool displays the state of the brake light switch.
Brake Switch: The scan tool displays Applied or Released - The
scan tool displays the state of the brake switch.
Delivered Torque: The scan tool displays in N-m the amount of
torque delivered.
DRP Disabled: The scan tool will display Yes/No. This will indicate
if the DRP has been disabled.
Eng. Torque Request: The scan tool displays in N-m the requested
engine torque.
Left Front Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays 0-255 km/h
or (0-158 mph). The scan tool displays the actual speed of the left
front wheel.
Left Rear Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays 0-255 km/h
or (0-158 mph). The scan tool displays the actual speed of the left
rear wheel.
LF Inlet Valve Solenoid: The scan tool will display Active or
Inactive. The scan tool displays the commanded state of the LF inlet valve solenoid.
LF Outlet Valve Solenoid: The scan tool will display Active
or Inactive. The scan tool displays the commanded state of the LF outlet valve solenoid.
Low Trac: TCS Active: The scan tool displays Off or On. The
scan tool displays On if the TCS indicator is currently being commanded ON.
LR Inlet Valve Solenoid: The scan tool displays Active or Inactive.
The scan tool displays the commanded state of the LR inlet valve solenoid.
LR Outlet Valve Solenoid: The scan tool displays Active or Inactive.
The scan tool displays the commanded state of the LR outlet valve solenoid.
Rear TCS Isolation Solenoid: The scan tool displays Active or
Inactive. The scan tool displays the commanded state of the rear TCS isolation valve
solenoid.
Rear TCS Prime Solenoid: The scan tool displays Active or Inactive.
The scan tool displays the commanded state of the rear TCS prime valve solenoid.
Requested Torque: The scan tool displays in N-m the requested
torque.
RF Inlet Valve Solenoid: The scan tool displays Active or Inactive.
The scan tool displays the commanded state of the RF inlet valve solenoid.
RF Outlet Valve Solenoid: The scan tool displays Active or Inactive.
The scan tool displays the commanded state of the RF outlet valve solenoid.
Right Front Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays 0-255 km/h
or (0-158 mph). The scan tool displays the actual speed of the right
front wheel.
Right Rear Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays 0-255 km/h
or 0-158 mph - The scan tool displays the actual speed of the rear wheels.
RR Inlet Valve Solenoid: The scan tool displays Active or Inactive.
The scan tool displays the commanded state of the RF inlet valve solenoid.
RR Outlet Valve Solenoid: The scan tool displays Active or Inactive.
The scan tool displays the commanded state of the RF outlet valve solenoid.
TCS Failed: The scan tool will display Yes/No. This will indicate
if the TCS has failed.
TCS Switch State: The scan tool displays Pressed/Released. The
scan tool will display the state of the Traction Control Switch.
TCS Warning Lamp: The scan tool will display On or Off depending
on the state of the TCS indicator.
Traction Control Equipped: The scan tool will display Yes/No.
This will indicate if the vehicle is equipped with TCS.
Valve Relay State: The scan tool displays On or Off - This parameter
indicates the state of the valve relay.
VSES Equipped: The scan tool will display Yes/No. This will
indicate if the vehicle is equipped with VSES.
