Power Steering Leak at the Power Steering Cooler Pipe - keywords fluid hose line pipe steer

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Power steering leak at the power steering cooler pipes. One or both of the hoses may be leaking.

The leak is likely caused by the hose clamps not being tight enough initially. As the hoses go though several heat cycles they may begin to leak due to the compression set of the hose. To repair the leak, tighten the existing hose clamps.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
