Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the left instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

    2. Object Number: 385251 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal (1).

    3. Object Number: 385262 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the brake pedal pushrod (1) from the brake pedal (2).

    4. Object Number: 385256 Size: SH
  4. Remove the cruise control (2) and brake switch (3) from the brake pedal (1).
  5. Disconnect the electrical harness from the brake pedal.

    6. Object Number: 385267 Size: SH
  6. Remove the upper (1) and the lower (2) mounting nuts from the brake pedal assembly.

    7. Object Number: 385270 Size: SH
  7. Remove the brake pedal assembly (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 385270 Size: SH
  1. Install the brake pedal assembly (1).

    2. Object Number: 385267 Size: SH
  2. Install the upper (1) and the lower (2) mounting nuts to the brake pedal assembly.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the mounting nuts to 27 N·m (20 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical harness to the brake pedal.

    4. Object Number: 385256 Size: SH
  4. Install the cruise control (2) and brake switch (3) to the brake pedal (1).

    5. Object Number: 385262 Size: SH
  5. Connect the brake pedal pushrod (1) to the brake pedal (2).

    6. Object Number: 385251 Size: SH
  6. Connect the accelerator cable to the accelerator pedal (1).
  7. Install the left instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
