Tools Required

J 41239-10 Cooler Pipe Seal Remover

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
2. Remove the transmission oil cooler lines from the transmission. Refer to Automatic Transmission Oil Cooler Pipes Replacement .
3. Install the J 41239-10 into the cooler line seal.



4. Remove the oil cooler line seals. Use the J 41239-10 .



5. Remove the cooler line bracket stud.

Tools Required

J 41239-1A Cooler Pipe Seal Installer

1. Use Mercon® III Automatic Transmission Fluid in order to lube the seal and the transaxle bores thoroughly.
2. Install the J 41239-1A on the transmission case using cooler line bracket stud hole.



3. Install a new seal in the case bore.



4. Press the new seals in. Install the cooler line bracket stud.
5. Install the transmission oil cooler lines. Refer to Automatic Transmission Oil Cooler Pipes Replacement .
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Check the fluid level.
