Removal Procedure
  1. For the 2.4L only, remove the cruise control cable cover.

    2. Pry the unit off with a flat-bladed tool.


    Object Number: 329490 Size: SH
  2. Remove the cruise control cable from the throttle body cam.
  3. Remove the cruise control cable from the throttle body control bracket.
  4. Remove the cruise control cable from the module by turning the cable assembly counterclockwise.

    5. Object Number: 329482 Size: SH
  5. Remove the cable from the ribbon.
  6. Remove the cable from the retaining clips.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 329482 Size: SH
  1. Install the cable to the retaining clips.
  2. Install the cable to the ribbon.

    3. Object Number: 329483 Size: SH

    Important: DO NOT twist the ribbon when connecting the cable to the module.

  3. Install the cable assembly to the module by turning the cable assembly clockwise.

    4. Object Number: 329490 Size: SH
  4. Install the cruise control cable to the throttle body control bracket.
  5. Install the cruise control cable to the throttle body cam.
  6. Adjust the cruise control cable. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Adjustment .
  7. For the 2.4L only, install the cruise control cable cover.

    8. Ensure the unit locks into place.
