LIMITED SLIP REAR AXLE LUBRICANT RECOMMENDATIONS

ALL 1987 REAR DRIVE PASSENGER CARS WITH LIMITED-SLIP DIFFERENTIALS

"Please discard bulletin 87-7-3. This bulletin was put in Section 7 in error and the part numbers were incorrect."

Several changes have been made to the limited-slip rear axle lubricant service change recommendations.

The following information may not be reflected in all 1987 service manuals, update as necessary.

Safari Wagon models require a lubricant change at 7,500 miles.

Firebird and Grand Prix models require a lubricant change at 7,500 miles only if they are used for pulling a trailer.
