Tools Required

J-38125 Terminal Repair Kit

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
2. Remove the right instrument panel (I/P) insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement .
3. Remove the I/P compartment door. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
4. Remove the I/P compartment.



5. Disengage the fuse block retainers from the I/P trim pad.



6. Disconnect the wiring harness retainer (1) from the I/P trim pad (2).



7. Remove the fuse block.



8. Remove the fuses and the circuit breakers from the fuse block. Refer to Power Distribution Schematics in Wiring Systems.



9. Using the correct tool from J-38125 , remove the wires from the fuse block. Refer to Power Distribution Schematics in Wiring Systems.
10. Remove the fuse block.

1. Install the wires to the fuse block. Refer to Power Distribution Schematics in Wiring Systems..



2. Install the fuses and the circuit breakers to the fuse block. Refer to Power Distribution Schematics in Wiring Systems..



3. Position the fuse block to the I/P.



4. Connect the wiring harness retainer (1) to the I/P trim pad (2).



5. Engage the fuse block retainers to the I/P trim pad.



6. Install the I/P compartment.
7. Install the I/P compartment door. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
8. Install the right I/P insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement .
9. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
