Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 320055  Size: SH
  1. Use a heat gun 152 mm (6 in) from the surface in order to heat the molding.
  2. Apply the heat for approximately 30 seconds using a circular motion.

    Notice: When removing body panels, apply tape to corners of panel and adjacent surfaces to help prevent paint damage.

  3. Use a flat-bladed tool in order to peel the door finish panel from the door surface.

  4. Object Number: 320048  Size: SH
  5. Remove the door finish panel.

  6. Object Number: 320045  Size: SH
  7. Beginning at one end, pull the center pins from the door rocker molding support retainers.
  8. Remove the door finish panel support from the door.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 320045  Size: SH
  1. Align the clips on the door finish panel support into the holes in the door.
  2. Snap the clips into the holes.


    Object Number: 320048  Size: SH
  3. Use Varnish Makers and Painters (VM&P) naptha in order to clean the body panel.
  4. Use a heat lamp or heat gun in order to warm the body panel to a minimum of 21°C (70°F).

  5. Object Number: 320053  Size: SH
  6. Install the bottom flange of the door finish panel into the support.

  7. Object Number: 320055  Size: SH
  8. Install the locating pins into the door.
  9. Peel the backing from the door finish panel.
  10. Do not touch the adhesive backing.

  11. Push the door finish panel inboard in order to ensure maximum bond to the body.
