Is the B/U LP fuse open?

1. Repair a short in circuit 840.
2. Inspect the system again.

Is the symptom still present?

Inspect the sunroof fuse.

Is the sunroof fuse open?

1. Repair a short in circuit 343.
2. Inspect the system again.

Is the symptom still present?

1. Disconnect the inside rearview mirror connector.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
3. Use a test lamp to probe between the inside rearview mirror connector terminal 1 and ground.

Is the test lamp on?

Use a test lamp to probe between the inside rearview mirror connector terminals 1 and 2.

Is the test lamp on?

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 12

Inspect for a poor connection at the inside rearview mirror connector.

Did you find a poor connection at the inside rearview mirror connector?

Go to Step 10

1. Repair the poor connection at the inside rearview mirror connector.
2. Inspect the system again.

Is the symptom still present?

Replace the inside rearview mirror. Refer to Inside Rearview Mirror Replacement .

Is the symptom still present?

Go to Automatic Day-Night Mirrors System Check

1. Repair the poor connection or the open in circuit 343.
2. Inspect the system again.

Is the symptom still present?

1. Repair the poor connection or the open in circuit 350 between the inside rearview mirror connector terminal 2 and G302.
2. Inspect the system again.

Is the symptom still present?
