Removal Procedure
- Carefully push the mirror face on one end to gain access to the retainer on the rear side.
- Disengage the plastic clips on the back side of the mirror.
- Remove the glass from the mirror housing.
Caution: When working with any type of glass or sheet metal with exposed or rough edges, wear approved safety glasses and gloves in order to reduce the chance of personal injury.
Important: The outside mirrors are stud mounted to the door metal. The mirror face can be replaced without removing the entire mirror. Left side flat and right side convex mirror faces must be replaced with the same type mirror face when serviced.
Carefully pull the mirror face in order to disengage it from the housing.
Installation Procedure
- Install the glass on the mirror housing.
- Push to engage the plastic clips.
