Removal Procedure
A clear waterproof sound deadener deflector seals the door inner panel.
The deadener also prevents entry of water into the body. Pressure-sensitive
adhesive located on the outboard surface of the deflector secures the deflector
to the door inner panel. The deflector may be peeled back as needed in order
to service the door components.
- Remove the trim panel. Refer to

- Remove the armrest bracket. Refer to
Armrest Bracket Replacement
- Peel the water deflector
off the door inner panel.
- Remove the waterproof tape.
Installation Procedure
- Install the water deflector
to the door inner panel.
Align the hook pockets with the trim hook holes in the inner panel.
- Use the roller around the periphery of the deflector in order
to ensure proper seating.
- Install waterproof tape to any damaged areas of the deflector.
