  1. Disconnect the Rear Compartment Lid Release Relay.
  2. Use a test light in order to probe the relay terminal C2 and B+.
  3. Press the release button on the RKE transmitter.

Does the test light illuminate?

  1. Resynchronize the transmitter. Refer to Keyless Entry System Circuit Description in Keyless Entry for more information.
  2. Use a test lamp in order to probe the relay terminal C2 and B+.
  3. Press the release button on the RKE transmitter.

  2. Press the release button on the RKE transmitter.

  1. Replace the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Transmitter.

  2. Use a test light in order to probe between the actuator terminals A and B.
  3. Press the release button on the RKE transmitter.

Repair the poor connection or open in circuit 56 between the rear compartment lid release relay terminal A2 and the rear compartment lid lock release actuator terminal A.

Repair the poor connection or open in circuit 350 between G402 and the rear compartment lid lock release actuator terminal B.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
  2. Reconnect all connectors/components that have been disconnected.
