Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the outer trim panel from the front seat cushion. Refer to Front Seat Trim Panel Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 803098  Size: SH
  3. Remove the screws from the seat switch to the trim panel.

  4. Object Number: 803072  Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the power front seat switch.
  6. Remove the power front seat switch.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the power front seat switch.

  2. Object Number: 803098  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the power seat switch screws.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  5. Install the outer trim panel to the front seat cushion. Refer to Front Seat Trim Panel Replacement .
