Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the seat back pad. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Pad Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 310877  Size: SH
  3. Remove the recliner to seat back frame pivot bolts.
  4. Remove the roll pins (2) from the recliner to seat back. Discard the roll pins.
  5. Remove the seat back from the recliner.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 310877  Size: SH
  1. Position the front seat back frame to the seat recliner.
  2. Install the roll pins (2) to the recliner to the seat back. Use new roll pins.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the recliner to seat back frame pivot bolts.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the recliner to seat back frame pivot bolts to 24 N·m (18 lb ft).

  6. Install the front seat back pad. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Pad Replacement .
