Removal Procedure
- Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the outside air temperature sensor that is located on the front, right radiator air baffle.
- Pull on the retainer to remove the outside air temperature sensor.
Installation Procedure
- Position the outside air temperature sensor to the radiator air baffle.
- Press in the retainer to install outside air temperature sensor.
- Connect the electrical connector to the outside air temperature sensor.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Drive the vehicle at a speed of 32 km/h (20 mph) for approximately one and a half minutes or at a speed of 72 km/h (45 mph) for approximately one minute in order to obtain the outside air update.
