Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1223311 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

    2. Caution: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  3. Remove the front wheels.
  4. Remove the clip and bolts (2).
  5. Remove the front wheelhouse splash shield (1).

  6. Remove the bolts (1) on both side of the fascia.

    7. Object Number: 1223312 Size: SH
  7. Remove the clips (1) under the fascia.

    8. Object Number: 1223314 Size: SH
  8. Lower the vehicle.
  9. Remove the front bumper spacer from the bumper. Refer to Front Bumper Upper Fascia Replacement .
  10. Remove the front bumper fascia bolts (1).
  11. Remove the clips (1).
  12. Remove the front bumper fascia (2).
  13. Remove the front fog lamps. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  1. Install the front fog lamps. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  2. Install the bumper fascia.
  3. Install the clips on the top of the fascia (1).
  4. Install the bolts on the top of the fascia (2).
  5. Install the front bumper spacer. Refer to Front Bumper Upper Fascia Replacement .

    6. Caution: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in the Preface section.

  6. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  7. Install the clips (1) under the fascia.
  8. Install the bolts on both sides of the fascia.
  9. Install the front wheelhouse splash shields with the clips and the bolts.
  10. Install the front wheels.
  11. Lower the vehicle.
  12. Connect the negative battery cable.
