Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2009 🢒 Matiz 🢒 HVAC 🢒 Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning 🢒 Suction Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  3. Remove the A/C refrigerant suction hose pipe nuts.
  4. Disconnect the A/C pressure sensor.
  5. Remove the A/C liquid evaporative pipe and A/C refrigerant suction hose support clamp.
  6. Remove the A/C refrigerant suction hose to compressor connector block retaining nut.
  7. Remove the A/C refrigerant suction hose to condenser connector block retaining nut.
  8. Remove the A/C refrigerant suction hose.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the A/C refrigerant suction hose.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the A/C refrigerant suction hose to condenser connector block retaining nut. Tighten the nut to 22.5 N·m (16.5 lb ft).
  3. Install the A/C refrigerant suction hose to compressor connector block retaining nut. Tighten the nut to 22.5 N·m (16.5 lb ft).
  4. Install the A/C liquid evaporative pipe and A/C refrigerant suction hose support clamp. Tighten the clamp to 4 N·m (35 lb in).
  5. Connect the A/C pressure sensor.
  6. Install the A/C refrigerant suction hose pipe nuts and tighten to 14 N·m (124 lb in).
  7. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  8. Recharge the A/C system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
