Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1619332 Size: SH

    Danger: To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed and strap the vehicle to the hoist.

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the bolts (1) from underneath the fascia.

  3. Remove the fascia plastic retainers from the rear bumper fascia.

    4. Object Number: 1619336 Size: SH
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Remove the nuts (1) in the luggage compartment.
  6. Remove the screws (2).
  7. Remove the fascia (3).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1619336 Size: SH
  1. Install the fascia (3).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the fascia upper nut (1) and tighten to 4N·m (35 in lb).
  3. Install the fascia upper screws (2) and tighten to 1.5 N·m (13 in lb).

    Danger: To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed and strap the vehicle to the hoist.

  4. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  5. Install the rear fascia plastic clips.

  6. Install the fascia lower bolts (1).
  7. Lower the vehicle.
