This bulletin is being revised to update the Correction Information. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 05-01-38-006A (Section 01 - HVAC).
Condition
Some customers may comment on any or all of the following conditions:
| • | The heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system may not blow cold air. |
| • | The Service Engine Soon (SES) light may be on. |
| • | A "Low Power" message may be displayed on the driver's information center (DIC). |
| • | The vehicle may be in the "limp home" mode. |
Technicians may find Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) P0532, P0533, P1681 or P2138.
Cause
This condition may be caused by an air conditioning (A/C) pressure sensor failure due to a voltage spike from the engine cooling fan.
Correction
Technicians should refer to Recall 05046 and/or Recall 05034.
