The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
The customer might have a concern of their Retained Accessory Power (RAP) is intermittently inoperative. Returned parts through the Warranty Parts Center (WPC) have shown that the RAP relays were loose in the IBCM.
First thing to check is for a loose RAP relay, you will have to remove the IBCM as the RAP relay is located on the back side of the IBCM. If the relay is tight in the IBCM then proceed with normal diagnostic in the appropriate SI document.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
