ABS Light Is On With C0045 And/Or C0050 - keywords brake C408 connector DTC intrusion speed water wet wheel

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

You may find that there will be an ABS light on and you may have codes C0045 and or C0050 setting.

Recommendation/Instructions:

It is recommended that you check C408 at the right rear frame rail (Document ID# 1583701) of the vehicle for possible water intrusion. If water intrusion is found dry out connector check for possible corrosion and repair as necessary.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
