Important: A short to ground will cause an open fuse(s). Before performing this diagnostic procedure, inspect the fuse(s) for an open.

1. Disconnect the turn/hazard headlamp switch connector C1.
2. Connect the fused jumper between terminals A and B of the turn/hazard headlamp switch assembly harness connector C1.

Do the high beam headlamps operate?

Replace the turn/hazard headlamp switch assembly.

Go to Daytime Running Lights (DRL) System Check

Repair the open in circuit 1200 between the turn/hazard headlamp and headlamp assemblies. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
