Inspect the dome lamp bulb filament.

Is the dome lamp bulb filament open?

  1. Open any vehicle door.
  2. Use a test light in order to connect between the dome lamp connector terminal A and ground.

Did the test light illuminate?

Go to Step 3

  1. Open any vehicle door.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  3. Use a test light in order to connect between the dome lamp connector terminals A and B.

Did the test light illuminate?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

Replace the dome lamp bulb.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 8

  1. Inspect the dome lamp connector terminals and bulb terminals for a poor connection.
  2. Repair the following conditions in CKT 1732 between S352 and the dome lamp connector terminal A:
  3. • A poor connection
    • An open

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 8

  1. Inspect the dome lamp bulb terminals for a poor connection.
  2. Make repairs as necessary.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 8

  1. Inspect the dome lamp connector terminals and bulb terminals for a poor connection.
  2. Repair the following conditions in CKT 156:
  3. • A poor connection
    • An open

Is the repair complete?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
  2. Reconnect any of the connectors or components that were removed.
