1. Turn the headlamp switch to the OFF position.
2. Remove the INST LPS fuse.

Did all of the instrument panel lamps go out?

Locate and repair the short to battery positive voltage in CKT 8.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Interior Lights Dimming System Check

1. Re-install the INST LPS fuse.
2. Disconnect the panel dimmer switch connector.

Did the interior lamps go out?

--

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Repair the short to battery positive voltage in CKT 44 between the lamp dimmer module and the panel dimmer switch. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Interior Lights Dimming System Check

--

Replace the panel dimmer switch.

Is the repair complete?
