Adjustment Procedure

You may adjust the rear compartment lid using one of the following methods.

  1. Procedure A:
    2. 1.1. Loosen the compartment lid hinge bolts. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Replacement .
    1.2. Adjust the compartment lid clearance.
    1.3. Tighten the compartment lid hinge bolts. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Replacement .
  2. Procedure B:
    3. 2.1. Remove the rear window panel trim. Refer to Rear Window Trim Panel Replacement .
    2.2. Loosen the compartment lid hinge bolts at the rear window panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Replacement .
    2.3. Adjust the compartment lid clearance.
    2.4. Tighten the compartment lid hinge bolts at the rear window panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Replacement .
    2.5. Install the rear window panel trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Replacement .
