Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting and Jacking in General Information.
  2. Support the intermediate exhaust pipe and the muffler.

    3. Notice: Cuts must be made as close to the welds as possible in order to ensure adequate overlap for clamping.

  3. Cut the intermediate exhaust pipe at the muffler in front of the weld.
  4. Remove the hangers from the muffler.
  5. Remove the muffler.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 33034 Size: SH
  1. Install the clamp to the end of the muffler.

    2. Do not tighten the clamp.

  2. Install the muffler.
  3. Install the hangers to the muffler.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the clamp nut to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  4. Lower the vehicle.
