  1. Connect a 10 A fused jumper from the air inflator switch terminal A to terminal B.
  2. Using a test light, backprobe the auto level control air inflator relay harness connector terminal C to ground.

Is the test light on?

  1. Disconnect the auto level control air inflator solenoid valve.
  2. Using a test light, backprobe the auto level control air inflator solenoid valve harness connector from terminal A to terminal B.

Is the test light on?

--

Go to Step 4

Replace auto level control air inflator relay. Refer to:

    •  Automatic Level Control Relay Replacement for long wheel base with HVAC
    •  Automatic Level Control Relay Replacement for long wheel base without HVAC
    •  Automatic Level Control Relay Replacement for short wheel base

Has the repair been made and the system rechecked?

Replace the auto level control air inflator solenoid valve. Refer to Air Inflator Solenoid Valve Replacement.

Check for a poor connection or open in circuit 1249.

Is there a poor connection or open in circuit 1249?

Go to Step 7

Repair the poor connection or open in circuit 1725 between the auto level control air inflator solenoid valve harness connector terminal B and S441 to G401.

Has the repair been made and the system rechecked?
