Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 1998 🢒 Trans Sport Ext. 🢒 HVAC 🢒 HVAC Systems - Manual 🢒 Vacuum Hose Harness Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the right instrument panel closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Remove the left instrument panel closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  3. Remove the control assembly. Refer to Control Assembly Replacement .
  4. Disconnect the vacuum hose harness from the control assembly.
  5. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the defroster valve actuator.
  6. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the mode valve actuator.
  7. Remove the vacuum harness from the HVAC module retainers.
  8. Remove the vacuum harness from the instrument panel by pulling the harness from under the instrument panel on the right side.
  9. Remove the vacuum harness from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the vacuum harness to the vehicle.
  2. Install the harness to the instrument panel by routing it up into the instrument panel from the right side.
  3. Install the vacuum harness to the HVAC module retainers.
  4. Connect the vacuum hose to the mode valve actuator.
  5. Connect the vacuum hose to the defrost valve actuator.
  6. Connect the vacuum harness to the control assembly.
  7. Install the control assembly. Refer to Control Assembly Replacement .
  8. Install the left instrument panel closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  9. Install the right instrument panel closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
