Info - Front Side Door Lower Speaker Part Change

This bulletin is being issued to inform dealers that a change was made to the speaker system used with RPO UC6 in production vehicles effective December 4, 2004.

The new front side door lower speaker is from a different supplier. The Goodman speakers, P/N 88973236, have been replaced by the Pioneer speaker, P/N 88974539.

For vehicles built prior to 12/4/04, if one speaker needs replacement and there are no more first design (Goodman) speakers available, then both speakers must be replaced with the second design (Pioneer) in order to retain audio quality. Please use this information when ordering parts.
