Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2009 🢒 Vibe - AWD 🢒 Driveline/Axle 🢒 Wheel Drive Shafts 🢒 Rear Wheel Drive Shaft Inner Joint Boot Replacement
  1. Remove the rear wheel drive shaft. Refer to Rear Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement

    2. Object Number: 2025706 Size: SH
  2. Remove the smaller rear drive shaft inboard joint boot clamp. Discard the clamp

    3. Object Number: 2025720 Size: SH
  3. Remove the larger rear drive shaft inboard joint boot clamp. Discard the clamp.
  4. Separate the rear drive shaft inboard joint boot from the inboard joint assembly.
  5. Remove the grease from the inboard joint assembly.

    6. Object Number: 2025758 Size: SH
  6. Put matchmarks (1, 2) on the rear drive shaft inboard joint assembly and rear drive shaft outboard joint shaft assembly.
  7. Remove the rear drive shaft inboard joint assembly from the rear drive shaft outboard joint shaft assembly.

    8. Object Number: 2025761 Size: SH
  8. Remove the snap ring.

    9. Object Number: 2025775 Size: SH
  9. Put matchmarks (1, 2)on the rear drive shaft outboard joint shaft assembly and tripod joint.

    10. Note: Do not tap the roller.

  10. Using a brass bar and hammer, remove the tripod joint from the outboard joint shaft assembly.
  11. Remove the inboard joint boot.
  12. Install the rear wheel drive shaft. Refer to Rear Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement
