Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
- Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement.
- Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement.
- Remove the left hand side engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement - Left Side.
- Drain the automatic transaxle fluid.
- Remove the transmission valve body assembly. Refer to Control Valve Body Replacement
- Remove the bolt and the transmission wire (1) from the transaxle case.
- Remove the O-ring (1) from the transmission wire.
