For 1990-2009 cars only
- Install the clutch drum oil seal ring.
- Coat the new clutch drum oil seal rings (1, 2) with ATF WS, and install them to the stator shaft.
- Using a suitable tool (1, 2), install the front oil pump oil seal to the oil pump body.
- Install the front oil pump driven gear.
- Coat the front oil pump driven gear with ATF WS, and install it to the oil pump body with the marked side (1) facing upward.
- Install the front oil pump drive gear.
- Coat the front oil pump drive gear with ATF WS, and install it to the oil pump body with the marked side facing upward (1).
- Install the stator shaft assembly.
- Using a TORX socket wrench T30, install the stator shaft assembly with the bolts and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Inspect the oil pump assembly.
- Turn the drive gear with two screwdrivers and make sure that it rotates smoothly.
- Install the front oil pump body O-ring.
- Coat a new front oil pump body O-ring with ATF WS, and install it to the oil pump.

Oil seal driven in depth: -0.15 to 0.15 mm (-0.0059 to 0.0059 in)
