Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the condenser. Refer to Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 2015609 Size: SH
  2. Using a 14 mm straight hexagon wrench (1), remove the cap (2) from the modulator (3).

    3. Object Number: 2015611 Size: SH
  3. Using pliers (1), remove the receiver dehydrator (2) from the modulator (3).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2015611 Size: SH
  1. Using pliers (1), install a new receiver dehydrator (2) to the modulator (3).

    2. Object Number: 2015612 Size: SH
  2. Install a new O-ring (1) to the receiver dehydrator cap (2) lubricated with mineral base 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2015609 Size: SH
  3. Using a 14 mm straight hexagon wrench (1), install the cap (2) to the modulator (3).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the cap (2) to 2.9 N·m (26 lb in).

  4. Install the condenser. Refer to Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement.
